Our Special Projects Division is a team of Project Managers, Estimators and Superintendents who are highly specialized in undertaking challenging projects that demand speed and innovation.
When GH Phipps began doing business in 1952, one of our first clients was the company then known as Mountain Bell. Our strong relationship with Mountain Bell, and their continuous requirements for growth and modifications, made us realize there was a need for a Special Projects Division in construction. We created our division because we want to ensure that all of our clients benefit from the strength, knowledge and resources available from us as a major general contractor when they are faced with additions, modifications, renovations and new buildings necessary to keep up with ever-changing technologies.
We have completed over 2,000 Special Projects in the last five years in a region that stretches throughout Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, New Mexico, Texas, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon and Kansas. These projects range from $500 to $4 million, with the majority of this work completed on occupied campuses.
Our Special Projects Division has been a valuable resource to Mountain Bell (now CenturyLink) as well as numerous other clients in many market sectors. To see some examples of our projects please go to the links below. We are always happy to provide more examples and references upon request.
The GH Phipps Special Projects Division is led by Roger Treichler, Director of Special Projects, and Michael Beaudoin, Manager of Special Projects. We are staffed by 12 Project Managers and Project Estimators, and 47 Special Projects Superintendents. They are assisted by Special Projects Coordinators and Project Engineers. This Division is supported by all the resources of GH Phipps Construction, from a full-time Project Scheduler, to our Equipment and Material Yard.
