Padilla Elementary School is a two-story, 62,000-square-foot building. The school includes 26 classrooms, administrative offices, a gymnasium, a kitchen, and a cafeteria/auditorium. Site amenities include surface parking, playgrounds, and a synthetic turf field.
Sustainability is something we strive for in every project. The exterior wall assembly utilizes spray-applied polyurethane insulation, which helps keep the conditioned air inside the building. LED lighting fixtures feature throughout the entire building and around the site. The gymnasium incorporates fiberglass panels to diffuse sunlight. The gym also utilizes fabric ducts to efficiently distribute fresh air while standing up to anything a student can throw at them.
