School District 49 is one of the fastest growing school districts in Colorado, serving more than 21,000 students across the northeast portion of El Paso County. GH Phipps collaborated with District staff to craft the best long-term solution to meet their increasing transportation and maintenance needs.
In 2024, GH Phipps completed the $25.7 million Transportation and Maintenance Center that included a 34,000 SF operations and maintenance building set on a 25-acre site with six work bays, updated office space, training areas, a 30-vehicle surface parking lot, and a secured, fenced surface parking lot to accommodate 175 buses.
