The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early College Athletic Expansion included construction of a new Colorado High School Activities Assocation (CHSAA) compliant gymnasium for basketball and volleyball, locker rooms, and a CHSAA compliant turf soccer field with bleachers, large plaza area, walkways, and additional parking.
Additionally, the project required a redesign of the site, site drainage improvements to include storm sewer, and grading plan.
The $15.8 million Athletic Expansion was designed by Eidos Architects and completed in August 2023.
