Cherry Creek Academy Addition & Renovation

Dear Cherry Creek Academy Parents,

We are excited to share that construction of a two-story addition to your school is about to begin! This milestone marks a major step in providing even greater educational opportunities for CCA students, and we are grateful for your support and patience as the project moves forward. Work is scheduled to begin on September 29, 2025, with members of the GH Phipps team on campus to coordinate closely with CCA staff during initial investigations and final preparations.

Commitment to Safety

The safety of your students and the entire CCA community is our top priority. Our first step will be to establish a fully secured construction zone that is clearly marked and professionally managed at all times. We believe that clear communication builds trust and supports a safe environment, so you can expect regular updates as construction progresses.

Who You’ll See Onsite

We have selected highly skilled and experienced trade partners to bring this project to life. As part of GH Phipps’ commitment to safety, all personnel present onsite have undergone a criminal record and background check through the US Department of Justice and the Colorado Bureau of Investigations. Site specific safety training is a requirement when stepping onsite and at no time will trade partners be interacting with students. While some investigations of the building’s systems may be required, any trade partner needing access to non-construction areas will always be escorted by CCA staff or GH Phipps representatives.

Noise and Learning Environment

During active construction hours, you and your student(s) may notice an increase in noise. On days when especially loud work is planned, we will work with CCA staff to relocate classrooms near the construction zone to ensure students can continue learning in a calm and focused environment.

School Operations

We know construction can bring some disruption, but we’ve worked closely with CCA to minimize its impact. Classes and programs will continue their regular schedules. Arrival and dismissal procedures will remain the same, and every effort will be made to keep daily routines running smoothly.
