Rosamond Park Playground & Basketball Court

Located in the Hampden South neighborhood, off E. Quincy Avenue and S. Tamarac Drive, Rosamond Park is operated by Denver Parks and Recreation. As the general contractor, GH Phipps oversaw the first phase of the project that expanded the footprint of the original playground and added new play features for all ages, upgraded the basketball court from a half-size to a full-size court, and converted approximately 30,000 square feet adjacent to Goldsmith Gulch from turf to native landscape.

The renovation was funded by voter approved Park Legacy Funds and the Elevate Denver Bond.Nestled in Denver’s Hampden South neighborhood, Rosamond Park is a vibrant community space operated by Denver Parks and Recreation.
