Rich Allison joined GH Phipps with 35 years of construction education and executive-level experience, and long-standing connections in the Denver market.
As Executive Vice President, participates in setting and executing strategy for the company. He also oversees business development, marketing and preconstruction, with a proven track record of taking work procurement to the next level.
Rich is a member of the GH Phipps Board of Directors.
Rich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University, switching to that major after studying architecture. He joined Adolfson & Peterson Construction in the early 1980s, eventually moving into the position of senior vice president of the Rocky Mountain Region. Allison was then named chief client officer, a position that focused on work procurement and client development.
Before joining Phipps, Allison served as senior vice president at Bryan Construction, Inc., opening the Denver office for Bryan and growing business and staff in business development, project management, preconstruction, and field operations.

Allison serves on the board of the Community College of Aurora Foundation, one of several organizations he has been active in over the years. He is married, has two children, and lives in Highlands Ranch.
